Nancy Knode completed her bachelors degree in 1980 at The Evergreen State College, where her work focused on nutrition and biochemistry. After raising three children, she went back to school to earn a masters degree from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduating in 2000. As part of her clinical training, she worked in a clinic in Huangzho, China. In 2001, Nancy opened Harbor Healing Center in downtown Kingston, where she practices acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy. She is also practicing in Poulsbo at Well Being Health Center.
In 2012 Nancy was chosen as one of five top acupuncturists in the Pacific Northwest by Seattle Met magazine. In addition, over the last several years she has consistently been voted one of three top acupuncturists in Kitsap County.
The cost for an acupuncture session (with payment at the time of service) is $105 for the first appointment, and $85 for subsequent appointments. Many insurance companies cover acupuncture treatments for certain conditions, and we do offer direct billing for most insurance companies.
